A Little Bit About UsOur BeginningsReady for a change from the fast track life of working as a Corporate Librarian in Washington DC, I sold my condo and bought 20 acres of wooded land and a beautiful log cabin in rural southern Ohio.
For my next career I decided to follow my heart and do something I'm passionate about, books!
For as long as I can remember I've loved books. I was fortunate to have a Mother who read books to us and helped us with our reading.
One of my earliest school memories is of going on a field trip to the nearby Library. Since then I've always had a Library card where ever I've lived, supported many a bookstore (new and used) and enjoyed thousands of books.
I also wanted to live my life differently, at a slower pace, in a beautiful, peaceful enviornment, surrounded by a community of friends, doing something I loved.The Next ChapterI started looking into selling books online, which would mean I could work from home and more importantly live anywhere I wanted to.
After some in-depth research and many discussions with booksellers (brick & mortor and online), I knew I could be successful at earning a living, while meeting and getting to know wonderful and interesting people.
I started out selling a few items on eBay, moved onto Amazon.com and Biblio.com. Now in June 2007, I'm launching my own website and will continue to add venues where I'll be selling my collection.
